Confessions of a Digital Hoarder
It’s true. I’m a digital hoarder.
When we started saving photos to computers, the idea of a database of human memories was remarkable.
Decades before the birth of my child, we were mesmerized by the idea of not taking a roll of film to be developed. Already addicted to taking a picture every 10 seconds, I then procreated. A child! Oh, yes! The “I might forget this so take 15,000 pictures” phase of parenting! (Granted, he was so much easier to photograph when I could sit him in his baby swing.) Needless to say, I’ve successfully avoided the vast gigabytes of digital photographs.
I have been working on the “Blogdeedah Brand.” Because the truth is while I want to write and bring humor to strangers - that’s all I have really nailed down. To help me brainstorm I’ve started to organize (notice not purge) many of my digital files.
And what a treat! My long lived relationship with Creative Market is a treasure trove of amazing-ness! From countless fonts to gorgeous stock photos, my digital hoarding habit has made Dropbox a very happy camper. True Story - I’ve amassed so many fonts, I had to download FontBase just to be able to view them all. (Highly recommended!).
Here are some of my finds. What do you think of them?
